Carla Hallmark Jones
Head of Events, Nesta
Nesta is an innovation foundation. For us, innovation means turning bold ideas into reality. It also means changing lives for the better. This is what keeps us awake at night and gets us out of bed in the morning. As Head of Events, Carla and her team bring all areas of Nesta’s work to life via live events. She and her team run over 100 events a year from breakfasts and lunchtime learning sessions to annual summits and our annual flagship event, FutureFest.
Prior to joining Nesta, Carla held the position of Head of Event Operations and Client Services for live events at Haymarket Media Group where she worked on events for Campaign, PRWeek, WindPower Monthly, Planning and Third Sector. Outside of work, Carla loves sushi, her twin daughters, learning British Sign Language and her two massive Maine Coon cats. Though not necessarily in that order.

Devina Ganas
Head of Sporting Events, Tommy's
Devina has been at Tommy’s for over 15 years in total and in sporting and challenge events fundraising for the past 9 years. I take part in a few running events myself – half marathons at most. As an events fundraiser, I’m always looking at and exploring new events in the charity sector to add to our portfolio at Tommy’s. I have a good understanding, mainly through our participants if what they value in an event.
Events like this are so important for recognising and rewarding all the fantastic and innovative fundraising taking place in the sector and to take a moment to celebrate those successes!
